A community in Yerushalayim who wanted to comfort a family were shocked to see that the family was very, very poor. They didn’t have enough money to pay their electric bill, so the lights in their house suddenly turned off. This happened during the Shiva of their teenage son, and it was really cold in their city, Yerushalayim. It made the family feel very sad and alone.
Some local Askanim are trying to help this family. They lost their teenage son and they don’t have enough to eat. But even with the help from these Askanim, it’s not enough. This family suffers in many ways – they are hungry, they are sad, they are stressed, and they don’t have enough money. Their money problems didn’t just happen overnight. This sad event showed that they had been struggling for a long time.
So, we’re asking you, Rachmanim Bnei Rachmanim, to please help this family as much as you can during this tough Tekufah. We hope that those who help will have all their Tefilos answered L’Tova. By doing this great Chesed, we hope for Klal Yisroel to see the coming of Mashiach B”B.
